Credit Suisse Securities (Europe) Ltd. and certain of its affiliates(collectively referred to as "Credit Suisse") today announce that theyhave acquired an additional 7,102,300 common shares of Rio Narcea GoldMines, Ltd. ("Rio Narcea") by way of open market purchases on theToronto Stock Exchange, and since the announcement of the take-over bidfor Rio Narcea by a wholly-owned subsidiary of Lundin MiningCorporation have acquired a total of 7,559,400 common shares, bringingtheir current holdings to 15,649,400 common shares of Rio Narcea.
